Barbara Schmidt-Bailey, 2017-Present

Barbara Schmidt-Bailey, MA, has worked in finance for 20+ years as a client development and sales executive in the U.S. and Germany. Barbara is a Chicago native who received a BA in International Affairs from Macalester College and an MA from the University of Chicago in International Relations. Barbara has spent seven years abroad, two years studying in Germany and five additional years working there. Barbara joined Net Impact Chicago after a sustainability group at work sparked renewed personal interest in environmentalism and playing a more active role in the Chicago community. Within the impact space, Barbara is specifically interested in the environment and women's rights.

Nurul Eusufzai, 2017-Present

Nurul Eusufzai is a Net Impact Lifetime member who has extensive experience in the private sector and a growing interest in the environmental, economic, and human dimensions of sustainability and regeneration. Nurul is currently a consultant with an engineering background and the scope of his work includes business transformation, program and project management, digital and physical service design, and quality/technology/data analysis. Nurul's development activity includes work for the Illinois Task Force on Social Innovation, the Chicago Sustainability Leaders' Network, and various Syracuse University Alumni organizations. His business experience includes stints at GE, Bank of America, startup and professional services firms in the US and Europe. Nurul looks forward to convening diverse and inclusive groups to understand/address our challenges and have fun in the process!

Yanqin Yang, 2017-2018

Yanqin Yang, MBA, is a former leader of the graduate chapter of Net Impact at DePaul University where she studied Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems. Yanqin now works in IT Management and she wants to make an impact by creating social value. Yanqin is a travel enthusiast and has been to 10 countries. Before she came to the U.S., Yanqin spent a year in Norway learning Norwegian and she is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. In addition to her MBA degree, Yanqin has a BS in Management, with a minor in Media Studies, from Presbyterian College in South Carolina.

Claire Cameron, 2016-2017

Claire Cameron, BS, studied Applied Economics and Environmental Studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison and she currently works in operations at a wholesale distribution center on the city's south side. Claire is originally from Chicago and returned to the city in 2015 and she joined Net Impact Chicago as a  way to get involved outside of work. Claire is a self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively as a positive and creative team leader. Claire practices yoga regularly and strongly believes in the connection between mindfulness and social and environmental impact.

Stephanie Landers | President, 2015-2017

Stephanie Landers, MA, manages strategic market research projects for international clients, with a particular focus on promoting exports and analyzing agricultural value chains. Prior to her current work, Stephanie spent more than three years managing international development projects funded by organizations such as USAID. Her interest in Net Impact stemmed from grad school, where the network became an avenue for combining her international development experience with the far-reaching impact of the business sector. Stephanie has a Master's degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where her two concentrations were International Business and Democracy & Human Rights. Stephanie also has a Bachelor's in Political Science from Wellesley College and she grew up in Latin America.

Katelyn SixKatelyn Six | VP of Communications and Marketing, 2016-2017
Katelyn Six, BA, is originally from Chicago but traveled extensively during her childhood, from Massachusetts to Alaska and New York to Nebraska. Katelyn attended the University of Illinois, where she studied Broadcast Journalism and Theater while earning her Bachelor's degree in Communications. Today, Katelyn specializes in recruitment and development as well as training coordination for a global strategic market research firm. Her interest in Net Impact was sparked after completing an office-wide "green audit" when she realized she has a passion for finding sustainable solutions to common problems.

Jessica Rivas | VP of Strategic Partnerships, 2016-2017
Jessica Rivas, JD MBA, is a sustainability professional with more than ten years of experience across the agricultural, apparel, electronics, consumer goods, legal, and Fair Trade coffee sectors.

Anna Carvlin | Social Media

Anna Carvlin was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and grew up mostly in the south suburbs of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in gender studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a Master's in international public health from Tulane. During a two-year assignment with the Peace Corps, she served as a community health educator in Togo, West Africa. Currently, she teaches yoga and Pilates, and works in the area of public health and nonprofit resource development, and is passionate about global sustainability issues.
