May 2020: The future post-COVID - what we're reading and upcoming virtual events

Everyone at Net Impact Chicago hopes you are all staying home and staying safe!  There is no doubt that COVID-19 has transformed the way everyone is living whether it be how we work virtually at home, go to the grocery store, and interact with our family and friends - life as we know it will transform into the “new normal”.  We predict that there will be an increased demand to “work from home” from employees, and that a stronger focus on sustainability from reduced non-essential business travel will come up.  Measurements taken by European Space Agency’s Sentinel-5P satellite show that levels of nitrogen dioxide over industrial areas in Asia and Europe were lower by 40% by comparing February 2020 vs. February 2019 emission data.
