Hello to everyone from Net Impact Chicago!

Wishing everyone a happy Earth Day and also an early Asian Pacific Heritage Month for May!

EARTHDAY.ORG, the global organizer of Earth Day, announced that the theme for Earth Day 2022 will be “Invest in Our Planet.” Earth Day 2022 is focused on accelerating solutions to combat our greatest threat, climate change, and to activate everyone – governments, citizens, social sector, and businesses – to do their part. “Everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable”. 

Many faith traditions are celebrating their holidays this Spring.  We would also like to express our sympathies with the victims of war and displacement in Ukraine and elsewhere.  Please read on for events and articles of interest to you, our Net Impact Chicago Community. 


Saturday, April 23rd from 9am-12pm - Rain or Shine!!

Join Net Impact Chicago at Mary Bartelme Park (115 S Sangamon St, Chicago, IL 60607) for an Earth Day clean-up to help our Chicago Parks!  This park is in the West Loop and convenient to Public Transit.

A Career of Impact: Investing in Yourself and Your Community

Join Net Impact Central on April 27th at 12pm CT for an in-depth, multi-workshop event exploring how you can create positive social impacts and support regeneration through your career, your investments, and the ways in which you network and build connections with others. You're welcome to attend just one or all sessions.

World Fair Trade Day is celebrated by tens of thousands of people in dozens of countries each May. For fifteen years, Chicago Fair Trade has organized the largest World Fair Trade Day in the U.S.

On Saturday, May 14, Chicago Fair Trade’s member businesses, organizations and allies are hosting multiple events throughout the city to showcase how they support economic and environmental justice.
