Want to learn how to manage a zero waste event? Do you like craft beer?

We're assembling a Net Impact Chicago team of volunteers to help manage the zero-waste station at the Oak Park MicroBrew Review Saturday, August 15, from 3:30 to 5:45 pm.

As a volunteer, you'll get:

  • Free entrance to the main event during non-shift hours
  • Souvenir tasting glass
  • Volunteer t-shirt
  • To meet new people and have fun!

In its 8th year, the Oak Park MicroBrew Review will bring together 5,000 craft beer enthusiasts from across the Chicago area, Midwest and beyond to enjoy all Oak Park has to offer while sampling more than 125 unique brews from about 70 breweries, plus delicious food on a mid-summer's afternoon. Nothing from the event will be going to the landfill!

The event is produced by Seven Generations Ahead (SGA) and the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild (ICBG). Click here for more event details.

LOCATION: Downtown Oak Park on Marion Street between Lake St. and Pleasant St. Accessible via public transit: Green Line to the Harlem/Lake stop or the Metra Union Pacific-West line to the Oak Park stop.

SIGN UP: We're managing registration for the Net Impact Chicago volunteer team. Sign up by RSVPing with us here and filling in the required info by Friday, June 5. Slots are limited and we want to grab them!

*Please note that people who are RSVP will be committing to show up for their shift. If you are unsure whether you will be able to participate, then please leave the slot for someone else. Cancellations seriously affect the festival's ability to function, and we want the festival to be a success. Remember, you can always decide attend the event later without volunteering!
