Join us on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 12:00 pm CT for the eighth, and final, event in the Regenerative Economy series, Strengthening Communities: Equipping the Next Generation of Regenerative Leaders.

Every community is unique - recognizing and embracing the resources, knowledge, and insights of each community, and its residents, is critical to building regenerative economies at all levels of society.

This event will spotlight a variety of organizations working to make their communities stronger by focusing on the intersection of emerging leaders and the skills they need to succeed in meaningful careers that benefit their communities.

Participants will learn about place-based strategies that help bridge gaps in workforce development and career attainment in under-served communities, increase community capacity to tackle pressing social impact issues and lead to stronger and more resilient communities.

This event will give you an opportunity to:

  • Meet speakers across geographically diverse regions, from Arkansas to California, who are working to build local regenerative economies by focusing on the specific needs and resources of communities and using regenerative principles that are grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Engage in small group discussions with speakers to ask questions and share your own knowledge and experience working to advance training, skill-building, and community-focused approaches that support regeneration.
  • Gain a better understanding of the ways in which organizations such as Hack the Hood, Upskill NWA, the National Audubon Society, and Walton Family Foundation are building collaborative partnerships across sectors to support young people in building meaningful careers and better understanding how to reinvest their skills and knowledge into their own communities.
  • Learn about place-based strategies to create equitable pathways for historically underserved youth and professionals to meet the demands of jobs in social impact, STEM, social justice, and other career fields.

This eighth and final event in our Regenerative Economy series provides opportunities to engage, learn, and connect.  This particular event will NOT be recorded.  Take advantage of these connections now!
